» I have
already been asked about the next Windows! A client had heard or read
somewhere that it would be out this year.
Relax! Microsoft is hinting
so far at a possible Fall 2012 release target.
Based on past experience, I
would say look for late 2012 to well into 2013!

Fall Renewal
|
|
‘Fall’ or ‘Autumn’ marks the transition from warm to cold weather in
the northern hemisphere. It also marks the beginning of a new school year,
a new season of TV programming, and the introduction of a new model
year in some industries, most notably the auto industry.
In the computer business, the significance of Fall is
mostly that of students
starting or returning to school, college or university with a
new PC. New PCs are becoming ever smaller, more powerful and less
costly. Portable PCs have become more popular in this highly
mobile world than the traditional ‘tower’ or ‘desktop’ PC form
factor.

Renewal’
